    Turf on top of gel

    Guys - looking for a 1X2 or so piece of turf to go on top of the gel similar to the diy truestrike thread.

    let me know if anyone has a piece to sell or if you know where i can find something that may work.

    A replied on 9/24 to a message you sent me. Send me your zip code and I'll see about shipping. I have a couple rolls of turf 12 inches wide and 15 feet long. I plan to cut them up into 1x2 strips.

      What type of turf do you have at the 1' width? If you've got extra, i may be interested in a 1x4 if possible.

      I have 2 kinds. They were bought as putting turf, but perfect fairway lies for gel and Divot Action use. I got them from allturfmats, but they don't sell it anymore. I'll see about shipping costs.

      Looks like about $15-16 to ship 1x2 or 1x4. So to get $4/sf back it's like $24 for a 1x2 and $32 for 1x4. Not a great cost per sq ft for you guys. I have an extra 6-8 feet of each (1 ft wide).

      One is ever so slightly thicker. I’ll pull them out tomorrow and get some pics. I could send one of each.
