  • Fiberbuilt systems - for those who bought theirs on sale

    Hello,
I've read most of the forum posts re: Fiberbuilt systems and I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one of their 4x7 studio mats.

I also noticed several people mentioned holiday sales where the price was much more reasonable. Does anyone know if they typically have black friday and/or christmas sales?

Has anyone tried using this on top of carpet?

I use the Flight Deck on top of carpet. With enough velcro on the bottom, it doesn't move at all.

FYI the Fiberbuilt practice station is back on sale at Costco.com for 199. A great deal for an excellent set up. It's what I use with my Skytrak.

I had thought they were $55 per square shipped and I agree 3 is ideal. Although if you are comfortable on the flight deck, its smaller than 2 squares I believe. You can just get the flight deck for 65 but people have preferred the squares. I haven;t used a flight deck so I really don't know.

For Skytrak the flight deck works fine since there is already a very limited hitting window. There is more than enough space to hit every clubs without any concerns of getting too close to the edges. The flight deck is fairly tall so it might be hard to match it to another mat without building the mat up a little bit but there are plenty of measurements available online to see how it would work.

Thanks for all the replies. Think I'm going to call FB for a quote on a 3x1 and a 4x1 (since my CCE is 4x5). Are there posts on here showing how folks attached hitting strips from other manuyfacturers to their CCEs?
