  • Canadian Real Feel Hitting Mat Suggestions

I am looking at ordering a hitting mat in Western Canada. I purchased one last year which had a name of Canadian Real Feel which has ability to insert tees anywhere and has a fairly thick and soft backing. The supplier has changed and I'm looking for something similar around 5x8. Any suggestions?

Depends on your budget. Obviously there are the big 3: Fiberbuilt, tru strike and CCE (not inexpensive), but if looking for decent mat to hit off of with relatively close to real feel, holds tees, inexpensive, and will not destroy your wrists and elbows the following is a quality mat to hit off of (too soft to stand on IMO - just built stance platform) $185 with prime shipping

The suggestion on this posting worked well as I built it:
So like a few of the other threads on here for your own custom Gel Mat, I went ahead and took a shot at making my own. I feel like it's the perfect combo of price/durability. In the other threads that discuss the DIY Gel Mat, they've had issues of the mat bubbling up/ripping in the hitting area, etc. I've had this combination

My mat didn't allow for tees so I drilled some holes into the mat the handle the tees. I use plastic tees so they don't break into the mat.
