Ran across this ad on Craigslist and thought there might be some folks in area that might have an interest.
This guy owns a driving range and is selling used Fiberbuilt 4' X 5' mats.
Says they are in very usable shape still. Asking $250.


He is in Pittsford, Michigan.
His name is Matt. His phone number is in the CL ad.

I might go look at them when I am up near Chicago for work in a couple weeks.
Anyway- not a bad deal it seems. No affiliation to seller.

Hmmmm...He must have pulled the ad.Just communicated with him over weekend.

He runs a driving range and his name is Matt. He said he had several and just needed notice if I was coming out to look at them.
Sounded legit to me.

cmckelvmi I'm in Livonia. When it came up as Jackson, I figured it wasn't too bad, but he's quite a bit south of there.

There is a guy on Sante Fe Craigslist with a Fiberbuilt mat for $150 with a 1X3 hitting strip but it has an industrial rubber stance mat. He will not sell or ship just the strip.

I think maybe a little high IMO, but not bad.

Look to be heavier duty and bigger hitting strip than the home 4'x5' ones.
If he was in my area, I would certainly consider as those look to be in great shape.

Thanks, depending upon condition, I may still be interested. It would kill two birds with one stone for me, needing another two FB panels and stance platform for LH'rs.

Okay, I don't have any new or different pictures. I would say the photos he posted on CL are a set of his best options. He certainly has plenty of the mat combos left, I would venture to say 15-20. The situation wasn't what I had expected when I thought driving range and after seeing the photos from the CL listing. All of the mats were stacked on top of each behind a garage. I think the set-up was all of the rubber bases and FiberBuilt 1' x 4' sections were stored outside. The stance mats and ball trays were inside the garage. I tried to pick the best options from what I could see, but I was in a hurry since I was on my lunch break. I asked him for a deal to purchase two sets of mats and he gave me $50 off. The seller Matt was there with a friend and they both were very friendly and helped me load the mats into my suburban. A concern I have aside from the mats being dirty and worn is once I got them home and cleaned the mats didn't appear to fit very well. I am hoping this is just because the rubber sections were sitting outside in the elements. Hopefully after sitting in my garage they will settle and fit better.
