I think ive hit on most every type imaginable and no matter what the reviews state here's my truth , all matts are a serious compromise and that's ok. Matts like turf went all the same .
fibre built is easy to hit off of much like a ball sitting up on some nice fluffy grass not tall grass but that just right kinda teed up grass . Its easy on the body too.
CCE is a tight lie kinda Matt and its punishing on the body
true strike is in between the two but still not perfect fairway conditions as you can get a little bounce and slide depending on your strike
fibre built sand simulator Matt isn't terrible but more simulates heavier rough than sand and I've cut different dept holes in mine to allow the balls to really settle into the fibre
what I've found is that the matts at some professional facilities like TRU Speck club Champion and a few others I've hit at are the best happy medium although the always seem to have them 1/8 or more higher than there stance matts .
Sadly I've had 0 luck asserting what brand theses matts are
