  • Fibre built or DIY Gel?

I built my simulator a couple weeks ago and am loving it, only problem is I have been using an all turf mat with some foam pads underneath and I am starting to get some wrist pain. Wondering if anyone could offer suggestions on whether a DIY gel mat would help quite a bit or whether I should buy a fibre built insert. I’ve read good things about the fibre built for pain but am worried the putting won’t be as good and if it would have a negative affect on my irons IRL.

Gel under the plastic rather than my hard floor. I had to build up the mat a small amount. May be psychological but the fat strikes don’t see, so punishing.

      I’d vote for the latter
I can’t see it having any effect

Perhaps, but I can tell you it’s not worse. I bought the gel to use with my CCE, Calloway and Skilz inserts. I prefer the Fiburbuilt which I have been using for 9 years. I don’t love the other mat inserts. Psychological or not, I actually prefer it with the gel.
