  • Thinking of changing from cce to fiberbuilt mat

Well I’m considering changing from my trusty cce that I’ve had for 5 years to a fiberbuilt. Looks like it might be easier on the joints. Right now the only people that play are right handed so I’m considering the 7x4, but I was considering the center version in case a left handed ever shows up...lol.
Is there enough room for the gc2/hmt? I haven’t seen any true pictures showing it on there.
    Thanks!

I dropped the cce for the fiberbuilt due to elbow pain. Pain disappeared after the switch. Will work well with the gc2.

I did last year and it's done wonders. No more elbow pain. It is more forgiving, however it will penalize you for fat shots. Just not as much as a CCE or Truestrike. I'll never go back to anything else.

Sounds good, did you all go with the 7x4, or the 9x4 center strip?
Any discount codes for fiberbuilt website?

I just ordered a 7x4, arrives tomorrow. Killed my wrist / forearm / shoulder hitting off a thin mat ... then did a diy divot action but decided to be as cautious as possible. Was thinking about the 7x6 as well but realized it wasn’t necessary. Going to have it recessed in my basement floor so it is flush with the rest of the floor ... I need as much headroom as I can get. Pretty excited after reading reviews of the mat and the injury free hitting.

Brian, did you get your mat setup?

I know I’m late to the thread, but I switched from CCE to fiberbuilt, but one of their smaller, budget ones. Very happy, but only one frustration: putting actually seemed kinda realistic one the CCE (at least relative to the fiberbuilt). I miss training my distance control and legitimate start lines. (Keep in mind I’m not a great golfer, so even the indoor practice had been helping my putting....but not anymore with the fiberbuilt). Never going back to CCE though!
