    Affordable landing turf

Looking for some landing turf that wont break the bank? Found this at Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/TrafficM...oduct-overview

What do you think? Any suggestions?

I use the same for my garage sim and I roll it up after every use. Due to rolling it up the grass is matted and didn't stop the ball from bouncing off the concrete.

I added the foam gym mat squares underneath and it stopped the bouncing.

thanks for the response. good to hear. what foam squares are you using? Do these stay in place or do you have to pick them up after each use along with the mat?

Get a cheap putting mat and run down the middle. Can get 18” x 8ft for $25 over the Home Depot grass

Ttime I used this artificial grass to build my stance mat. I have even hit off off it as sort of a simulated rough. I bought 1” thick closed cell foam interlocking tiles and glued the turf to it. This was my 3rd version. On the first 2 I used a plywood base with carpet foam I left over. I ran into an issue with the foam and plywood becoming soaked from rain since I use them outside. They were a pain in the ass to move and after constantly getting wet the glue would no longer hold. On the third I used the closed cell foam squares as a base. It is so easy to move around that after using it outside it’s no problem to move it into the garage to keep it out of the rain. It’s not the prettiest but it works well. Click image for larger version Name:	1D72A20F-A706-4D0C-8DAE-DE511F9D184A.jpeg Views:	2 Size:	235.7 KB ID:	300582

Grizly Grass at Lowes is really cheap, $0.50 sf. It also putts reasonably well. It may not provide enough padding to stop balls bouncing.
