Help picking mat

I have gleaned cce to hard, fiberbuilt to soft, so trustrike. But I dont want to replace the skin or whatever. So back to fiberbuilt? I hate the idea of buying a huge piece when you wear out a small spot. The fiberbuilt station looks like it would work? Thanks so much. Screen next!

If your just setting up I would HIGHLY recommend you look at some of the DIY options. Much cheaper and easy to replace later when your wearing them out. Check out DIY divot action or other DIY hitting mats already posted here.

I have a ceiling mounted camera and lighting simulator system (GSA) dependent on contrast between floor surface and clubface for clubface recognition. I presently have a Fiberbuilt Hitting mat but I believe it is reflecting too much light. Are there better alternatives for non reflective mats? I experimented with nonreflective carpeting and the results are significantly better but obviously not great for hitting off of.

With diy I can build a bigger area, assumption, to make putting fun. What about the hitting stations, seems reasonable enough

I have hit on enough mats to know for sure they get worn out in one spot, hmm, and here is another question, how do we work that carpet that shows hit spot in? Thanks again and I will be around for quite a while as build is getting going! This reminds me of homebrewing rig building, I love it!

Agree CCE is pretty hard. Really forces a "picker" swing. It hasn't all been great, but interestingly I am finding myself hitting iron tee shots right off the mat which I wouldn't do outside. Helps me stay consistent across irons.

My first winter with sim. Snow on ground. After hundreds of swings off CCE, gonna be interesting to transition back to grass.
