Synlawn Precision Putt for full shots?

Is Synlawn Precision Putt suitable for full shots?

I know you'd need some sort of foam or gel sub floor, wonder if anyone has tried this?

Yes, SynLawn Precision Putt makes a great, durable hitting surface, as long as you use either Lexan (DIY Divot Action) or silicone gel (TrueStrike) underneath it. We use it all the time with Lexan, raising the turf up by 1" throughout the room, for a perfectly flush look.

      Thanks Ron!

How is Precision Putt with mat dust (from club/turf interaction)? I've noticed some surfaces are better than others in this category, I've become fairly sensitive to dust in recent years.

Do you recommend or sell the Lexan or silicone gel product?

Haven't noticed any mat dust after 2 years or so of using it, and it doesn't rub off any green residue on clubs (it's nylon, vs polypropylene which is the stuff that typically rubs green off on clubs).

We use this Lexan, supported at front and back with wood or rubber, and a small amount of foam in the middle for support, then glue the turf to the Lexan: https://www.homedepot.com/p/LEXAN-12...E-33/202038063

I used the divot action system for less than a year and went through 4 panels because of my tendency to make large divots. I also thought it was too forgiving with not enough feedback between ball contact and ground contact. If I were to want to use the synlawn precision turf for my full shot mat - what would I put underneath to absorb the shock?
