Putting with Fiberbuilt grass series mat 9x4

Well I have my Mevo+ and Fiberbuilt grass series 9x4 mat and the money putt turf is on order. Now trying to figure out the putting with this mat. How do people do it, most YouTube videos I’ve seen people just putt right off hitting strip. Seems like hitting all your putts from off the green? I think Mevo+ recommends putting offset to the right and 1 foot back but can’t imagine standing on the hitting turf. Wondering if there is a more realistic solution I’m missing. I do like the mat, it’s rock solid but I can see now why cutting in just the hitting insert is a popular way to go.

I’ll probabably just do 2 layers of EVA tile mats to build the floor up close to level.

I have the same mat and just putted right off it to the floor but looking for something that will roll out 10 feet. I just put down two layers of Eva tiles up to the screen until I figure out a better solution. I wouldn’t stand on the hitting strip to putt and don’t think it affects much putting on it once you get used to it..
