Putting surface to use with Real Feel mat

Just finishing my simulator setup. GC2 launch monitor. 5 x 5 Real Feel mat. I have a 10' wide X 6' deep area between the hitting mat and the screen. Debating on what to put down. Real Feel mat is thick and would want something same height so I could putt. Even though it would just be a 6 foot putt. I could buy a 10 X 6 piece of turf to fill up the whole area. Or I could buy a putting strip that would be maybe 12" X 6', and then fill up the remaining area with some kind of turf. Any suggestions?

The real feel also has strips. You could get a 10"x 48" and just use that strip for putting. It's the same material and height, use some double sided tape to get the seam close as possible...

I have that mat and put putting green in front. The level matched by adding Dricore underlayment.

Mthunt - Where did you get your putting green that you put in front of the mat?

I bought it from a putting green company in Burlington, Ontario called Southwest putting greens.
