Fiberbuilt v CCE

VV: I think you had an issue with putting on the fiberbuilt. Are you learning to live with it? It seems like a very brushy style of surface, not as dense as CCE, so I have some doubts about how well it will be with putting.

But I just lost 1 week of practice due to elbow pain which I am pretty sure is from hitting on the CCE, so I am considering Fiberbuilt or TrueStrike

I still personally am not crazy about putting off the FB vs the CCE. I find it uncomfortable when addressing the ball. It seems the putter head wants to move or shift because of the bristles giving way a tad.

I only asked because all the fiberbuilt mats I've seen have large irregular ball holders which I thought might make leveling the Skytrak difficult.

Gotcha. I don't have that issue because I just inserted 2 FB panels in to my existing hitting platform. I'm sure the ball tray would create an issue. I would imagine though that the ball tray could be removed.

I have a CCE 5' x 5' and enjoy the feedback it gives when I hit one fat. I want to be penalized for hitting fat, otherwise I won't get the feedback I need to make changes that I would otherwise see out on the course IRL.

Totally agree. I have no problems with my wrist, shoulders, or elbows and I use my CCE about 3-4 times a week. For what it's worth, I've got a DW Quail 4x5 mat that is 4 months old that I would sell for $110 plus shipping from the Tulsa area. I prefer my CCE over the DW mat
