New Setup, Help me pick a Mat

Search didn't help much and I have to believe this question gets asked a lot, but..... here goes !!

What should I know before I purchase a mat ? Looks like CCE is the way to go, any thoughts ? This is a new build for me and I have nothing yet. Looks like the it will be a Skytrack system if that changes anything.

Anyone out there have the Matzilla Sky Trak mat from all turf? Seems to maybe be a slightly thicker turf and wondering what/if any effect that has with ST readings?
