Projector for HomeCourse screen - selection and distance

Hi,

I bought HomeCourse Screen and I am now searching for projector for the ceiling mount.

Size of HomeCourse screen is 7' wide and ~7 ' high.

I will use projector with PC desktop and SkyTrak.

What projectors are you using and what distances (screen- projector) you have ?

The size of the screen you have chosen is pretty restrictive. It is a square format, obviously, and also not that big.

Most people look for "short throw" projectors which basically means that the projector can be placed quite close to the screen. This avoids having the player cast a shadow on the screen.

Did you pick a projector yet? I have the Homecourse screen and am looking to change my projector. Need 4:3 aspect ratio obviously. Have an XGA projector but likely going to upgrade assuming I can run 4:3 on a HD projector.

Sorry I forgot to reply. I bought projector OPTOMA EH200ST while Optoma GT1080Darbee was not available before Chirtmas time. It works, but in 3:4 I can not not cover whole HomeCourse screenn.
