  • Projectoe connection

I am getting ready to sheetrock my garage. What wires do I need to run from the projector? I guessing HDMI and satellite wire for DirecTV? I have a outlet approximately where the projector will hang. I'll be using a iPad for the time being. ADAPTER to iPAD and HDMI to ADAPTER also. Any other info would be appreciated so I don't have to redo anything also what about hooking up a stereo?

Depending on where you see your build going in the future? I would run a network cable and an extra HDMI maybe some composite audio cables (if you want to hook up your projector to a receiver) Or just put in some extra empty conduits, make them as big as possible and you will be future proof.

If you can, run a 1" pvc pipe and run all cables in it. Should give you plenty of room for future use.

i'd agree with both the above. Include a Cat6 cable, which can be used for firmware updates as well as other connections to a PC in the future, but most of all, install a conduit so that you can add / change cables in the future. I luckily had a conduit with my HDMI cable in it when the cable failed. Without it I would have had a nightmare.... small upfront cost for big savings down the line

Here you go...PVC Flex conduit.. I ran 2 separate conduits 11/4 one for HDMI and one for audio and PC. Planning for the future.
