Projector Positioning

I'm looking at the BenQ HT2150ST and the TH671ST for my sim room. I've got 9' ceilings and about a 14' wide space. Do both of these projectors need to be ceiling mounted in the exact middle of the room?

For those of you that are offset from center in your sim space, is your projector still centered in the middle of the room? This part is confusing to me.

The projector should be centered with your screen.

Centered unless
1. You don’t mind keystone correction, where you can shift image left and right, but you lose image quality.
2. Your projector supports Horizontal Lens Shift, which allows the image to shift left or right usually by a %, but with NO loss of image quality.....expensive....but great if you want you projector away from the swing plane and also to reduce shadow casting.

Below are some good links for the projectors you're looking at. With 14 feet of width, I'm curious why you would need/ask about being offset? I have the 2150ST and it's centered, but my width is only 9 feet 10 inches. Although my ceiling is closer to 10 feet high.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't going to hit centered because there is a pipe hanging down about 8 inches from the ceiling that would be in my backswing, but I can just have that moved, probably be the easiest and cheaper than a more expensive projector with Horizontal shift or keystone.
