  • Ultra short throw laser projector

is anyone using an ultra short throw laser projector.?
my set up at this time is hitting into a Net Return and watching the result on a 40" TV.
i am considering placing an ultra short throw projector on the floor in front of a screen (non impact) and protecting the screen and projector by hitting into a net between me and the projector/screen.
does anyone have a similar setup and would like to comment ?

USTs usually do not give a large enough image for simulators . Make sure you check the Max image size before making any decisions.

Vrpunk is correct if you are looking at a ground to ceiling screen, but most of the Ultra Short Throw Lasers will produce between a 110" to 160" screen depending on the make an model. I am also looking at doing the same, it may not be ideal for simulation but if you make the net removable the cinema experience will be superior.

Thanks, I was looking at laser projectors with 160 inch diagonal screen size, I feel that would be reasonable for my needs, however, I do realize it's a compromise to suit my other requirements.
