Little help guys. Got talked into helping a buddy build a simulator. Like everything I get involved in. Wanting to have screen near 10 feet tall so that it will accommodate wedge play. Have ample room. What projectors are out there that won’t break the bank.

I myself went with the Optoma EH412ST https://www.optoma.com/us/product/eh412st/ now as for myself I have not had any problems and like mine but have had others say they were not so lucky so check out everything before you buy. Here is a site that will give you the information on most projectors you find as far as throw length and all.

Hi BGcurtis - I’m considering the EH412ST myself. I have the GT1080Darbee in short throw, but it doesn’t seem bright enough and it has no vertical adjustment or optical zoom. I’m still within my return time, so an exchange shouldn’t be a problem. Was the EH412ST easy to install and does it have a zoom or vertical adjust? Any thoughts on brightness? I have a lot of windows in my shed (which are getting shutters), so I need something that puts out a good amount of brightness. Thanks for your advice!

It has the digital zoom and offset and I had it up and running in no time, seems to be pretty bright to me but I only have two windows to deal with and I have blinds and black out curtains on them. Here is a YouTube video of me and my nephew playing hole 9 at Viburnum.
Getting a bit of distortion off the A/C but it shows how well it looks and the amount of light we have in the room. Now others have said they have had problems with the EH412ST but as for myself I have not.
