Post your speaker setup with projector

Trying to find alternatives to using the 10 watt projector speakers. Any wireless solutions without using a receiver?

Not wireless but I put the VIZIO speaker bar behind my netting, wiring is above the netting and out of the way and the two satellite speakers and the base sit at the back of the room.

These are arriving tomorrow. They’ll be on speaker stands just to the front of my enclosure, but eventually I want to hang them from the basement ceiling. They are Bluetooth.

Does your projector have Bluetooth? The speakers look good

Projector is old and doesn't have bluetooth. I have a brand new Dell XPS Special Addition PC that does though.

I have a Bose soundbar mounted behind me to the ceiling. It works pretty well. It connects directly to the projector. I can also connect it to Bluetooth and play from my phone.

What type of input does this use and where is it picking up the input from, computer or projector?

Optical from the computer. My projector only has a regular audio out.

It's easy, way too easy, to spend when it comes to speakers.

Assuming a lower end/ average sound, from your computer to powered speakers - there is a wide verity of speakers at every price point. Try to listen to them before buying.

Right now I have all my sound coming from the projector. That’s why I was wondering if you hook up speakers from the mounted projector or the desktop pc? Budget under 200.00, output just something better than 10 watt mono speaker, doesn’t need to be 5.1 and I don’t want a receiver. I guess either a sound bar or two bookshelf speakers will do. Also have to figure out placement so they don’t take a golf ball shot!
