I have The Net Return Pro series with the screen and would love some feedback on what would be the best projector for it. I have an Alienware AW17R3-4175SLV 17.3 Inch FHD Laptop (6th Generation Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD + 256 GB SSD) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M laptop that I will be running it with and a Skytrak unit.

Any chance you found a good projector? I'm going to use the same net / screen, and am looking for a good projector. My skytrak gets here next week, and the current projector I have is a cheap-o mobile projector I've used for outdoor movies etc that does 1080p, but isn't what I want to use with this sim setup. I have an old gaming laptop that can run TGC2019 and 1080p resolution no problem, but I'm also building a new pc that is way overpowered for sim golf. I don't need 4k, but... not opposed it it because I think it will be awesome on the net return pro screen, and eventually on a permanent setup once I have the space in about a year. Though, I do know that even though 4k projector prices have come down, they're still wildly more expensive than a decent high contrast 1080p projector. TBH, I would like to go cheap for my current setup, and once I have more permanent space, go with a higher end projector that will double as a theater / golf sim.
Let me know what you ended up going with. Thanks!Last edited by pbrb; 11-24-2020, 01:45 AM.

The BenQ TH671ST is a great HD projector and is very popular with sim players, and when combined with an Nvidia GTX or RTX gpu, can handle any aspect ratio, even square. I have like-new refurbs in stock (link to throw calculator on this page):

So did you get the projector set up this weekend? I also have the Pro net return, I do have the sim kit for it, I have the hood on the cage but the screen is still in the box!
I was all gung-ho on getting a projector! But I am terrified that I will hit a $1000 projector with the ball or club I'm on the fence!
I am hitting just over 6' from the net right now, I have room to move back, BUT why I'm so close is my approach wedge hits the "no Fly" net pretty regularly, and if I use my lop I have hit the ceiling often! I do NOT know how these people are hitting 8- 10 - 12 feet back! I want to either add extenders to the No Fly to get it up some more or just have some bent up and replace the original arms. I have tried to figure out what projector will work best for my needs. The Pro Net screen will be 88 wide by 84 high. I have just under 10' ceiling and would like to keep as far to the ceiling as possible! so that leaves 36" from ceiling to top of screen. So I believe I'll have to use the square setup for the screen. So where will I have to put projector? please help!
