I'd prefer to set the throw at 11 feet with a 6" drop mount on a 10 foot ceiling and have the image start around 6" off the floor. The spec. has the image starting 2" below the lens. I'm flying blind setting up a projector. Will I be able to use the vertical keystone and/or tilt the projector and not have a distorted image? At that throw the minimum height is 89" which I'll have to stay close to based on my rooms' width.
I realize I could drop the projector down from the ceiling but I'd prefer to keep it high out of harms way and less intimidating on a full swing as the hitting are will be directly below using the Mevo+.

In my setup I have a BenqTH617ST 9-1/2 feet from screen, bottom of projector is 9-1/2 feet high and Top of screen is 8-1/2 feet high. The projector is tilted down and keystone corrected and it look s great, I probably could have lowered my screen even more, I just haven't tried. The projection is 116" wide x 84" high I believe (4:3)

Yes, I sell a bunch of those projectors at https://store.gunghogolf.com/BenQ-TH...new-p255287242 and they have very smooth keystone adjustment (image doesn't distort or pixellate at all even with extreme keystone dialed in). Only thing you'll want to be aware of is if you have a top side to your screen enclosure, it will block the light beam if projector lens is above the height of the screen, unless you angle the top of the enclosure up.

Also, beware than when you dial in keystone, the effective throw distance of the projector gets a bit LONGER, because it shrinks either the top or bottom of the image to square it up. Make sure to test it before rigging up the ceiling mount, or at least mount it near the middle of its zoom range to have plenty of wiggle room to adjust image size.
