Projector Help

Common thread sorry, 1st post.

I am choosing a projector and have narrowed it down between Optoma 1090HDR/1080HD or BenQ TH671ST

I am not sure if the screen is ideal behind or in front of the hitting area?

Strike position is approx.. 8’-9’ from the screen. The ball is positioned centre of the screen.

Screen viewing 133” W and 113.25”H (total dimensions: 144”W x 118.75”H)

Ceiling Height is 118.75”

We prefer the TH671ST for its longer throw (will be a few feet behind ball) and optical zoom (don't have to be as precise with mounting location) as compared to those Optomas. More reasons we like it at https://store.gunghogolf.com/BenQ-TH...NEW-p265749740 (it's in short supply currently, we expect more stock in 1-2 weeks).

Does the TH6761ST support 16:10? I can't seem to find that info

chet1205 that’s a 16:9 projector and so it will not give a 16:10 image. However, with that said you can play around with where you place the projector (assuming you have enough length) to get the height where you want it and then just do a custom resolution to fill the width (just go to projector central throw calculator to make sure you have the length to get the height correct. If you don’t know how to do a custom resolution, just search this site as there are some good discussions here as well as links to YouTube videos that walk you through everything you need to know.
