I have a benq th671st projector and would like to send the signal to a tv so I have another monitor. The TV I am using is a RCA led42c45rq. The Benq has a VGA output. I tried running a VGA cable from the projector to the TV and got no signal. I then tried using a VGA to HDMI converter (Projector VGA Out > VGA to HMDI converter > HDMI Cable > TV). I couldn't get a signal either way. Has anyone gotten this to work?

How to send signal from Benq projector to TV?

I think you're going to have to split the signal at the source (before it goes to the projector) and then run a cable to the TV and another cable to projector. There might be a setting on your projector to enable the output, but a lot of times those outputs don't work well due to video signals being too complex.

Assuming you're using a PC with a graphics card, use a DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable from PC to TV (or a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter and HDMI cable), then mirror the displays in Windows Settings.
Or as above post says, use an HDMI splitter to send the signal to both the projector and TV.- Ron at GunghoGolf.com - we specialize in TrackMan, FlightScope, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, Garmin, Bushnell, TGC, and E6 Connect. 512-861-4151 or email hello AT gunghogolf.com.
