Who has a BenQ LK936ST in stock or available soon?

Hi All - I’ve been piecing together a sim for my garage. I blame this site for my addiction! I have my heart set on a BenQ LK936ST projector, but I can’t find one in stock or one with a known ship date.

Anyone know where I might be able to track one down? Any other 4k ST projectors that I should consider?

I ordered from several places on 12/13 (including B&H). All of them kept delaying the shipping date until ProjectorScreen.com came through and shipped on 2/2. Great projector, worth the wait.

I just got mine delivered from AGI. Pleasantly surprised. I would suggest calling them to check on stock levels if you are worried yours wont get fulfilled in time.

Great communication actually. They sent an email saying that the stock would arrive the following week and that my order would be fulfilled.

Then they said they will send tracking number. They shipped same day they received it themselves and I tracked it normally.

I did email them once every two weeks or so just to check on things so they dont forget me hehe

I got mine today, can't wait to hook it up. I need to figure out a good mount. BenQ has a CMG3 mount that they recommend. AGI was great.

I have the Optoma 4K550ST for sale with 4500 Lumen, Lamps 420 H in use. 16:9 and throw of 0.8 - 0.88 : 1 This means that at 0.8 meters distance you get a image of 1 m. Very similar image as the Benq, but less than half the price. Announced here in the forum. I say this as its not easy to get the Benq Laser, I got one but for 5950 E, and now its even more expensive. I am talking about European prices.

The Audio General page reminds me a bit of the sites in NY that sell photographic equipment with no US warranty. Does anyone have experience with getting products from them and subsequently filing a warranty claim with a manufacturer? I'm sure the price is great, but I worry about too much of a good thing.

AGI sent an invoice on the date it was shipping out that said "keep this if you need warranty service"

I used the date of that invoice and plugged in my serial number on BenQ's warranty checker page and get this

That appears to be solid then, which is great news. I am sure that issues with the units are rare, but it is too big an investment to roll the dice.

I have 2 BenQ LK936ST in stock if anyone is interested. I know they are a bit hard to come by. I ordered 5 so that I would have a couple extras available. They just came in yesterday and will be looking for a nice home.
Let me know if you are interested. Soon we will be adding these to Surfthing.com once our bigger order comes in but that will be a while according to BenQ.
