  • Short Throw Projector Floor Mount Enclosure

Anyone who uses a short throw projector in a floor mount enclosure (like this http://www.allsportsystems.com/store....php#listing_2) - just want to ask (and see in pics) where do you guys place this enclosure vis-a-vis a SkyTrak (or I guess GC2) where you can get projection to center of impact screen yet do not risk hitting it or have balls bounce off of it? Thanks.

I use this one. It is about 6 feet away from the screen - my hitting matt is about 2 feet from the back of the enclosure. My entire floor has a 3/4 inch green turf and then my hitting mat sits on top of that so my hitting mat is about 1 inch higher then the enclosure so chance of hitting balls is low. The enclosure is also slanted up so if you did hit it from behind it should ride up the enclosure. I like it. The remote control can operate the projector while in the enclosure.

Having the hitting mat area higher than the enclosure is a great idea! I just worry I will top the ball w the driver and the ball will ricochet all over the place and destroy things.

I was also looking for a projector with lens on the left of the projector (looking at the projector from the front) instead of right (which most are), and place the enclosure in front of me and not in the path of the ball. This way I feel more confident that most shanks will go to my right instead of my left and I can make my sim area safer.
