    Thoughts on Vivitek DX881ST?

I can pick up a refurbished Vivitek DX881ST for $370 right now, which seems like a pretty good deal. My only hang up is the native resolution being XGA (max supported resolution is WUXGA at 60Hz). It has a decent contrast ratio of 15,000:1 with 3300 lumens, which would provide a 22fL from just over 6' in my garage for a 120" wide screen, which I think will be adequate. Should I be concerned with the XGA resolution? I will be using it with Optishot 2 for now, with the intentions of upgrading to a SkyTrak or similar in a year or so. Here's the link to the projector: http://www.vivitek.eu/Category/Educa...s/127/DX881ST-

    Thanks, and cheers!

I have an Optoma XGA projector with similar specs. I checked yours on projectorcentral.com and it comes up with very good performance.

Don't be thrown by the XGA, it's pretty good since you'll be hitting from 10 feet away. This is a good deal price wise.

Bit the bullet and bought it. I figure for the price, if it doesn't work out like I hope, it's not the end of the world. Now hopefully my wife has gotten the hint that I want a real feel golf mat and optishot2 for Xmas!
