    Tee surface height setting

Anyone ever use this setting on their Mevo+ or other Flightscope units? What’s it for?

I assume it’s for when you have a hitting mat on a platform or raised surface but the unit is on the floor... in my case my mat is almost 3” above the floor. Can I just put the Mevo on the floor and set the tee surface height to 3” or is it better to raise the Mevo+ to the height of the mat?

Hey tonybrown32 I think I answered on FB, but GungHoGolf stated this adjusts for difference between MEVO surface height and height of the mat "off the deck." If MEVO is on floor, and your mat is 2" thick, your tee surface height should be set to 2". I think GHG also said height should not be adjusted for driver as MEVO+ adjusts when driver is selected.

Ok great thanks, that's what I assumed it was, but there really doesnt appear to be many good detailed explanations of all the settings and options, although most are pretty self explanatory.

My mat is almost 3" tall including its wood platform it's on, maybe I'll just try it out for a bit and see how it performs with Mevo+ on the floor and using the tee surface height adjustment.

      Thanks

Previously I only use the VS app and find it perfectly normal, however, recently I'm into sim games ie E6 n TGC, both doesn't hv the tee height settings, and the launch angle were different when I put them on the floor and try to raised them to match my platform level. They are 4" apart. I'm not sure if this is the factor causing the difference in launch angle for driver.
