Mevo+ not showing up on network

So far I have only used my mevo+ on iOS systems. No issues with connection at all.
When I look for the mevo+ on my laptops, it does not show up at all. Any idea what could be the cause? I tried two laptops and neither show it available. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

MEVO+ has to be manually entered into the available networks to be "seen" by laptop or desktop. Then, it can only be used with the PC version of e6 Connect for additional fee. Or, with the demo version of e6 Connect which comes with one course and one driving range with limited adjustment capability. Example: Demo driving range wind always seems to be 15 mph in your face, with no adjustment available.

Adding: The above is my experience with Windows desktop. Don't know if true for Macs or MacBooks.

Wind is displayed, but there is no wind effect in E6C for Mevo+ and SkyTrak users.

I manually enter the network using the proper name and password but I still cannot get the mevo’s signal to show up on the available networks. Is there a firewall setting or something silly that I am forgetting???
