Has anyone tried anything like this? Thinking of it for protecting from bounce back situations. Not sure how/if it would interfere with the radar.

The device is a minimum of 7' behind the golfer. So the ball would travel a minimum of 15' to hit the device. Is it necessary?

When I was testing my enclosure, a ball bounced back and hit the box the Mevo came in, I placed there as a place holder for the unit. 2nd shot bounced back and hit the box. I know I need to work on the enclosure to minimize bounce back. I think I am going to rebuild with Gung Ho Golf DYI instruction. Should work better for me

I've had extremely thin shots sneak under my screen... and bounce back off the concrete wall behind my net... right back at me an inch or two above the ground.. more than once... put a good dent in the storage locker behind me, just glad it didn't hit my Mevo+!
I need to extend the length of my screen so there's some material on the floor to catch those...

Funny you mention those foam gutter fillers... I have those too.. they didn't help at all. If they softened the bounceback at all, it was very minimal. The foam I bought looks really porous though... so the ball just compressed right through it, still hit concrete, and bounced right back.
I have an old memory foam mattress topper though I may cut up and secure to that bottom section of the wall with some adhesive, may absorb more energy than the gutter fillers..

I have had some pitch shots that have hit the cross bar and come back, and after a few bounces around, has come into contact with the Mevo+. I'm not sure if you can put anything in front of the unit, as I understand that'll impact it's readings. I've tried to just catch the ball before it can pass me.
for worm burners, I used those tubes used to put at the bottom of doors to keep the heat in. It's worked well to soften the impact. Prior to getting those, I hit one that came back and almost hit me in the face at about 125 mph.

Great idea, but does it affect the mevo+ performance? The only statement that I can see is that it does not affect the WiFi signal nothing is mentioned about radar tracking. Also can it be plugged in while being used? It does not look like it. The mevo+ is finicky enough as it is so I don’t think adding another variable to the mix at this time is a good idea. Perhaps after all the bugs have been worked out something like this might be very useful.

Hi Shankz. I have one of these and it works perfectly with no negative performance issues or issues with radar tracking. It allows me to get my unit set at exactly 0 degree roll and 12 degrees tilt when using E6. Really helps with the Mevo+ reading the shots correctly. There's now a video about this on youtube which shows exactly what this can do. It can be plugged in while being used, the video shows it plugged in too... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4oHjrhNMaU
