GC2 Softwar w/ great practice challenges

    Hello,
I've had a GC2 for a while, and I love it . We've just moved and finally have a room dedicated to our golf sim. It's got a ways to go, but for now, it works.

My question is: I primarily bought the GC2 for my youngest, who is a talented golfer. The problem is, the FR1 software doesn't really have anything other than a driving range. The FSX software has a great skills challenge, but unfortunately, the distances aren't adjustable for a younger person.

Does anyone know of any really good software packages that are compatible with the GC2 that offer really decent skill building challenges? His instructor had one that allowed him to dial in distances and set personal records. He loved it, but it was with a foresight launch monitor.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

In FSX 2018 you can create custom skills challenge with user definable distances.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

In any course or range in FR1 you can drop the ball anywhere you want and practice from that spot, compile statistics with flight tracers etc. In club fitting you can record every measured and/or computed result, look at averages and spreads. In other words you can do anything that can be done on a real course or range with the obvious exception that all lies are flat and level since you are hitting from a mat..

I believe they are talking about actual challenges that are setup and tell you to hit to specific targets. What you are describing is a completely manual process that would drive me nuts.

I believe FSX 2018 has what you are looking for.

I don't have a GC2 but use my Skytrak to play at ***. They have combine challenges set up there in the Perfect Golf game which I think would do exactly what OP is looking for. Compatible with GC2 and other LMs. I havent played the combines myself but they get very good feedback
