Think of it like getting extra putting practice. And yes, it's annoying when you're trying to hit 2 foot putts and have 5 goes at it. I haven't nailed down why this is happening. johnnybogey you may be right as I have *some* white on my shoes but it's predominantly black. It's a hit or miss issue with TGC since Quad is picking up the putt.
Today I only played 4 holes or so (literally just got TGC 2019 up and running this morning) and had a 55 footer that took 4 attempts to read. All four putts showed up on the GCQ, and all of them were within a few tenths of a MPH of 12.5 MPH launch speed, which should be well above whatever the "no read" limit is.
Take a look at your ambient lighting. I know a lot of folks talk about white shoes but for me I found I had misread putts when I had sunlight shining through a window behind me. Once I installed blinds and moved the ceiling light to behind the hitting position (from overhead) I have had much better success (and my shoes are white). My guess is there is some sort of reflection issue with slow moving clubs (putts) but this is a guess - YMMV

Hopefully there is a solution.
oh yeah! absolutely. I just found it more annoying with the little putts but you're absolutely right. Even 55 footers have the same problem so it doesn't seem to be a speed issue. Not sure why this is happening either. No one else has complained so wondering if it's some of the newer units like what you and I have .

I haven't had mine long, but it isn't a newer unit. New firmware though.
Jasonreg- I still need to get my room outfitted with blackout shades, so I definitely have sunlight. However, I don't see how this could be an issue if the GCQ is reading the putt, which it is. It was an issue last night in the dark (TGC not 2019) and this morning, extremely overcast.
before i pull the trigger and update to the quad from the cg2, guys with the quad here and use it with tgc2019, will the quad be as good as the gc2 is with the tgc2019?
Just want to make sure i am not going backward, but forward here.

what is your criteria for backward vs forward? Are you getting GCQuad with the club data? Do you plan to buy FSX2020 as well?
If you're looking only at the TGC2019 angle and nothing else, you're going backwards as you must have FSX2020 to make it work.
I have fsx2020 already and will continue to use it for game improvement. Others that have the quad on here and in the discord channels are using the quad with tgc2019 and doing ok with it. Just wondering if other are experiencing the same with their setups as well. thanks
I have both FSX2020 and TGC2019. Graphics are great on TGC2019, but I still get annoyed with the big first bounce. I have had a couple of weird issues where it didn't register ball strikes in TGC2019, when everything was "Green" in GQSX, but overall it has been working well. Putting and chipping with the Quad have been 1000% better than when I used a Skytrak.
Had Quad on old firmware and was working fine apart from some missing some small chips and putting, I upgraded to latest firmware 3.022 as I have FSX always running in background but now TGC is not registering the shots even though GQSX is green and Quad is connecting to my 2nd WiFi adapter.
Anyone any ideas on how I get this working again?

Once you load fsx and connect your quad, exit out of fsx and start tgc2019. Let me know if that works.
Thanks for the heads up, I will try this tomorrow morning.
Sounds good. Here are my steps:
1) start protee interface
2) start GQSX, click connect
3) start FSX2020, go to devices, connect to quad. Once connected, exit out of FSX2020 completely
4) start TGC2019
One thing I've noticed is if I'm warming up on the FSX2020 range and decide to play TGC2019, it won't work. Have to completely exit out of FSX2020 and do steps 1-4 above.
Steps above worked perfectly, once TGC is connected I could start FSX again to get club data as well and TGC worked fine, thanks for the info, appreciated.
I recently found that there were some no reaction on TGC after a solid shot. There were data on GCQuad means the LM catch the ball, but seems not transferred to TGC. Any suggestion?
Hi there, new GCQ owner here. Is the GCQuad x TGC2019 comparable to GCQuad x E6 Connect? Are the putting misreads still an issue with the GCQuad x TGC2019? Thanks!
