  • Anyone buy E6 Connect yet?

I'm on the fence and I hopped in here hoping to hear some opinions. Thanks!

I am doing the $600 per year subscription on my Uneekor EYEXO. I am not sure what specifically you are wanting to know about the software but I like it. The only software I use for my quad is FSX2020 but I assume the E6 plays the same on the 2 units.

How do the graphics compare? More specifically, how do they compare on your impact screen, and in that case, what is your projector and screen combo? Does it require a constant connection to the internet, or like FSX does it just require that you have the internet to validate the license? How do the physics feel to you in comparison? And finally, because I see that you have TGC 2019, how do you feel it compares to TGC 2019?

Graphics are different, but in a good way in my opinion. They are more vibrant and courses seem larger such as trees seem taller and greens seem bigger. I find that TGC19 is bland in colors after playing e6. Its similar to comparing regular tv colors to HDR colors. I think TGC looks more realistic but E6 has a unique look and pulls it off well. You can download the courses and play offline to my knowledge. I am hooked up to internet constantly but I will test tonight for you. I think e6 physics are better than TGC19, the only thing e6 has a problem with is backspin on greens is excessive but I hear they are working on that. My projector is a Epson 5050bu and screen is a Carls premium impact screen. TGC19 has the societies that I really like to play in is really the only major win in my opinion for TGC19. TGC19 also appears to have unlimited courses which is a win but a lot are junk.

Bought it, have not received activation code yet, will let you know. Also have TGC2019 and 4k PJ to compare all the different sims

Great, like to see a video review showing them side/by/side. BTW, what is 4k PJ?

        I'm guessing that's a 4k projector

Here is my first look video I just finished. Working flawlessly with Quad so far. I like how I can run FSX performance fitting on my iPad simultaneously. I show it in the video.

Has anyone had any issues on activating the expanded subscription for E6? I purchased the package and got my email yesterday, but the courses are not unlocked when I go into E6. My license in the E6 portal has a gray key next to it instead of a green key. My main E6 license has the green key. Does Trugolf have to activate something?

Foresight instructions are WRONG...Have to log into the e6 portal. Enter the activation code. Then unbind the sim from the original license on the portal. Next, Log into e6 and activate the expanded subscription. The instructions say it will bind automatically, it does not...

I'd be curious if it supports dual foresight gc2 for left and right

So there’s no way you can buy premium courses like pebble beach? You have to pay 600.00 to rent them a year?

Is there video camera capability on EG with GC2/Quad similar to the video capability with FSX 2020?

Took a call to Foresight to get my activation to work (first one said already in use). All good now. So with main one you get the 27 courses. Paid another $600 to get them all, have not gotten the code for that yet. Took 5 days to get e6 code so 8/4 should call your salesperson or foresight direct...

In terms of game play, head and shouulders better than FSX, better than TGC2019 "in general" and similar to TGC top courses (eg 17th at sawgrass). I have a touchscreen so the SIM game play is way better on e6 since I don't need a keyboard or ipad like I do for TGC2019. I have a bright 4k projector so the images on TGC and e6 are comparable. At the end of the day I rank e6>TGC2019>>FSX...

Happy to answer any questions about them since i have them all...

Thanks for the report PK. Having watched a couple of videos, but not played E6, my impression was that E6 graphics look a lot better but the ball physics do not look as good as FSX. The ball bounce and roll on E6 looks a bit jerky and unnatural. FSX I think really excels at this. It might be a question of whether you value that or the graphics more highly.

The physics I have found to be pretty good, not FSX but better than TGC

Is Pebble included in the $600 annual subscription? I thought it was a separate "premium" course that cost $750 to buy.

Got E6 Connect working with my GCQuad. However, for an unknown reason my carry distance is off with low irons and woods (E6 datat vs GCQuad). It is pretty much the same with wedges and irons up to 7-iron.
I then realized that at the ball peak height is about 30-50% lower with E6 than FSX2020 when comparing E6 Connect and FSX2020 on the range. DOes anyone experienced similar problems ?
