1.8.0.13 flashes the Unity error and crashes before I even try to run a game or session. Home screen loads, Unity box pops up a few seconds later, and the game shuts down. Reinstalled 1.6.1.6. -
For what it's worth, had 3 separate range sessions yesterday - putting, chipping and full range. No issues. Played 18 at Teton Pines. No issues. Of course, I haven't hit a tree yet, so I don't know if that aspect is improved.Comment

Tried to practice chipping @ the ForeSight practice Facility in "Play" and could not make it 1/2 an hour without it crashing twice in that time with the Unity crash message down to OS level. I'm about done with Foresight Software.

Tried to play Spanish Bay on FSX Play. Unfortunatelly first time it crashed during start up. Second time I could start spanish bay, but it crashed after tee shot from tee three. At the moment It's not playable.
In addition I have with problems with fsx 2020 as well. If fsx 2020 is running and I start swing catalyst, fsx 2020 crashed.
Which software should I use? At the moment there is no foresight software without issues. Any recommendation? At the moment it is really furstrating...Comment

That’s a known issue with fsx2020 and swing catalyst. They have the workaround posted somewhere on their support page. I think you start fsx and minimize but don’t connect quad, then open catalyst, then go back to fsx and connect quad. Then catalyst should see the quad and not crash fsx. Something like that.. -
100% you should go too software that rhymes ESGrow. Not sure why we cant say the real name here since I thought this was an unlicensed forum but the admin blocks it.

Well I must be an exemption to the rule but since I hard wired my internet connection and updated the new update touch wood I’ve had no issues. I had customers play on play yesterday and they said it was amazing. No craters or bugs. I noticed the graphic improvement on at Andrews.Comment

So will start with the fact that I have not yet had a chance to try the new update (too much golf IRL). That said, I often wonder if many of these issues are caused my insufficient (or bad) RAM, or errors on installation due to anti-virus and firewall issues. Any chance you could post your specs? I would also try re-installing from scratch with your AV and FW turned off and see if this helps in any way.Originally posted by delaloi View Post

Had another good day on Friday with it.
Trees don't have silly bounces and the ball doesn't get stuck up there, but I also didn't strike any trees solidly. All brushed through the leaves.
Harbour Town is still not right, I can hit out of several water hazards and lots of screen flickering. I also think the chipping still isn't right.
Chipping with a 58 degree wedge runs out way more than it should when landing on green, yet stops on one bounce when it hits the fringe first.Comment

ForesightMattyG - Butterfield 11th hole, 1 yard off fringe in fairway, 20 feet away uphill 11 inches - used a putter, ball speed 11.2 MPH, ball rocketed off and ran out 36 yards. clearly an issue. Mulliganed the shot, went back, selected putter and hit the same shot with the same result. Chipped it with a sand wedge and that worked okay. ForesightMattyG : Couple of random notes from latest version of Play (which has not crashed on me yet):- Target size for Skills Competition does not get bigger as distance increases. Makes it tough when you have to hit a 5-iron within about 8 feet to get one point.
- Spyglass Hill, sand area next to 5 green: ball struck with SW flies 2x the distance shown on GCQ and bounces on the green like as if it were a cart path. Clearly a glitch as the course otherwise plays pretty well (and looks great).

Ive been enjoying the program much more lately. The only issue i've been having is getting abu dahbi golf club to update. it downloads, but never installs, just keeps telling me to update course. Ive done it directly from the download site as well as from play to the same result.Comment
