    Yup, it's a scam. Beware!

He took it off when the bidding past the $4.5k, as he wants to sell it direct outside ebay for $3k and then never deliver...

Yep. There was a Buy it Now at $4500 until people started bidding. Even $4500 isn't a bad deal, especially since it comes with a cradle, albeit the old one.

1 day to go and only 3 bids. Somebody's going to get lucky.

A second one was added this evening that also looks to be legit.

Holy crap, it went for $5,655. And another one listed as a Buy it Now tonight was snapped up in a couple hours for $4,500.

$4500 is not bad. But $5600 was too much IMO. Can probably get a brand new one for $6k.

Yup. Too much money for sure. My guesse is we will see more used ones being sold.

Funny, he's violated ebay use policies too. You can't do what he's doing. They should pull that shortly....

I've reported evey single one of these over the past several months. It usually takes ebay a day or so to take it down.

I have a saved search on eBay for GC2 so I see them as soon as they pop up. I saw this scammer with HMT and thought it's too good to be true. General question to the group: Lots of used GC2s on eBay don't include the software. Would there be any additional cost or steps to buying one without software and using it for ProTee? Is there a bogus transfer fee?

Nope. And the warranty is still transferable if it's still with the one year warranty
