With a good computer there is almost no delay so this was not needed but if you wanted to display your shot quicker you would turn off wait for spin so that the ball launched right away and then calculated the spin and added that to the flight of the ball. It was said that hitting that way would possibly make a couple of yards difference with the ball flight. If you had wait for spin the shot would not start until all the calculations were done and thus a better idea of ball flight.
I do not think any other software like TGC would have that as an option.
After being on the real life range this fall and having the laptop out there with the GC2 to watch real ball flight and match to Foresight old fs1 software, I was finding that the software had too much left and right movement of the ball on slices and hooks. Well struck balls were more accurate.
