        Launch numbers come from the launch monitor. There's plenty of good ranges. TGC is releasing features slowly. One is the ability to track multiple shots. It's coming. Don't know when.

            Unfortunately i don't have TGC yet, but i don't believe it contains the information that is shown in the Foresight fitting software, at least not yet anyway.

                Well I'd be happy if it has s basic range without rewinding shots, I can go without the fit software..

                        mthunt where can I see this range? I am an above average googler and could not find one video with a range for simulator use.

                          Google? Just do the following in the software.

                          Click play round then select player then in course screen type range in search box. There will be 20 pages of ranges. Start round then hit the ESC and enable auto rewind. It'll give you full range. Hit i after each shot to see all of your data.

                                  No it doesn't. You can view last shot data by hitting i, or look on the gc2 readout until you hit the next shot.

                                      Can anyone provide information regarding the protective cradle to get? I am going to be using with with a CCE mat. Any advice regarding whether which protective cradle to get will be appreciated.

                                          im going with the metal one since the unit costs 6k. $300 is basically a rounding error and eliminates any fears.

                                          I would look into the black one sold from Foresight. The silver one works great, but it is a little pricey. I think the newer cradle is around $150 vs the silver cradle which is about $295. Always a good idea to have a protective case even if you are the greatest golfer in the world.

                                              I called foresight to buy a new GC2 and if you don't buy their software there's a $1000 fee added on because they know you'll be using TGC or PG.

                                              Seeing as they don't make any money off of the SDK, they are now hitting the end user. FUN TIMES

                                                  Your rep is trying to upsell you because they get a ton of sh&t if they don't sell the software with the unit. The rep I talked to said it was 6650 alone

                                                            Amazing!! They could have partnered with the sim providers and offered a USB connection that produces a close to instant launch and some other new features. With that they would have made a few $ for something people want to pay for.
                                                            Instead they come up with this. The only resonable outcome is that someone like me will reverse engineer the USB protocol and release the solution for free to anyone that wants to use it.
                                                            Will be interesting to see what they do next, can't imagine it will be something smart.
