Ok so if foresight is reading this, nice response on sending out a replacement unit first. :-)
And..can you let go of making fsx courses and just partner up with TGC and JNPG..

      *UPDATE*

Today I received, and tested, the GC2 replacement that Foresight sent me. Drum-roll anybody?....................The numbers are right in line with what I should expect!

Here's where this whole saga gets even crazier though:

Yesterday, before receiving the "new" unit, I decided to hit balls in the garage. I went ahead and used the "old" unit, basically just to compare numbers between four different 8-irons that I have. The numbers on the GC2 were still horribly off, but I figured I could use the differences (in numbers) between the various clubs and determine which ones launch higher/lower, spin more/less, etc... After about 30 minutes into my session, the battery on the GC2 ran out. I was right in the "thick of things" with my club comparisons, so I decided to put it on the charger and continue... And crazy enough -- believe it, or not -- the numbers (after the charge) were right in line with what I should expect! Kinda' like the battery running out "reset" it (in a good way), or something...

So today, when I received the "new" unit, I decided to do a comparison between the GC2's. I started with the "old" unit first, because it was already in place. The numbers it gave me again seemed legitimate. After 20 balls, or so, I switched out the GC2's (I was now using the "new" unit), and just like the "old" unit - the numbers continued to seem legit. Yes...both units were essentially spitting out the same numbers...

But it doesn't all end well... I then switched the units again (to re-test "old" unit), and the numbers were right back to being horribly off. Confused, but inquisitive, I decided to turn the unit off, then back on, and try again... The numbers were right back to being legitimate

I did forward this information to Foresight, so hopefully they can use it to troubleshoot the unit, and potentially refurbish it.

Anyways, time to go put some work in! Thanks for all the help guys. See you around the forums!

Very glad to hear!!! The GC2 is a top notch unit and it should be for the price. I believe there will be faulty products in every aspect of life, and unfortunately for you, yours was a faulty unit. Foresight did right by sending you a new unit, with readings that are very dependable. It is crazy how you got the old faulty unit to get legit numbers by running out the battery, but it went back to false readings after a while. Hopefully, Foresight can fix that unit and sell it refurbished. The good news is you have your new accurate GC2! The have very helpful tech support over there and stand behind their product.
