GSX stands for Golf Sim Exchange. When you are running the TGC installer, there is a window where you select what you want to install. If I remember correctly, there are maybe 10 different options. One of the options is Golf Sim Exchange. When I installed mine about a year ago, there were actually two options that sounded similar. I think one was version 2. I think you want the other one though.Last edited by andygg1986; 12-06-2016, 03:26 PM.

I am new to the TGC with GC2. I can't figure this out. ProTee tells me that the GC2 is not supported. I took the advice of others on here and purchased TGC software. The download did not come with GSX. ProTee acts like they don't know what GSX even is. What should I do?

It could be. Try to connect it to your phone or iPad. If it connects easily it could be the Bluetooth adapter.

Hey guys. I need some input. My GC2 used to show up right away in my Bluetooth devices. Recently though I've had to restart it a few times to get it to show up. This weekend I couldn't get it to show up at all. I tried another computer but still no luck. Does it sound like I'll need to send it in to foresight to get the bluetooth fixed? Should I ask them to do anything else while it's in the shop?

When I was installing it, I guess I picked the wrong one. I installed the other one and it looks like yours and everything looks good now! Thanks for your help!

GSX should look like this. Settings are in the ProTee tab. Are you using a GC2? Is that the GSX for Skytrak? I have a GC2. I use the one attached. Maybe you downloaded the wrong one? Ive never seen that one. Is anyone else using the one he posted?1 PhotoLast edited by mthunt; 05-09-2016, 01:52 AM.

This is probably a dumb question, but where do I change settings in GSX? This is all I see

For starters you can change that KPH to MPH. In GSX there's a settings page under protee. Make sure all sliders are set to 0. Try that.

Downgraded Protee to 3.07e (from 3.07g). It worked on a few shots but then went super far again. I'm playing Pebble Beach Golf Links (Protee). On hole 6 I am 33 yards short and left of the green in the first cut of rough. According to GC2, the shot should go 23 yards and it goes 195 yards into the ocean. The launch angle and spin show up correctly in TGC, but the ball speed which was 20 mph shows up as 196.34 kph.Last edited by andygg1986; 05-08-2016, 07:45 PM.

Reset Protee to default settings except changed Use The Golf Club to On and Use External data to on, now it is back to going ridiculously far.

Well I shut everything down and restarted and now my pitch shots that the GC2 says would go 10 yards are only going 1 yard...
-
I just got TGC to use with my GC2. It looks really good except I have a serious problem with pitch shots. Whenever I have a shot from about 40 yards, I hit a partial lob wedge. The GC2 screen will say something like 41mph, 31* launch, 1.1 right, spin axis 16.7 left, 5900 rpm, total carry 31 yards. In the game, the shot will fly something like 150 yards. I have GSX 2.0 which doesn't seem to have any settings to change. I have protee 3.07 but I don't know what settngs to look at.

I figured it out. I had to sub in a wired keyboard and a wired mouse so there was only one bluetooth device in the area. Good to go now. Thanks.

Just click ok when asked for a code.Originally posted by cobig13 View Post
I'm on Windows 10 and using an Insignia bluetooth adapter which reads as paired from 5 feet away from the GC2. However, I can't get GSX to read it as 'Connected' for the input but the output is always connected. I am experiencing the same thing as JV17 had above in "2": When I try to connect to the GC2, the computer produces a pass code number that it sends to the GC2 to supposedly validate. I never have an opportunity to enter a code on my computer.
Can anyone offer some advice or guidance?

1 - Whenever I try to connect via the Bluetooth settings via the system tray, it simply opens up the Bluetooth Devices screen. I can't seem to try to connect any other way.
2 - When I try to connect to the GC2, the computer produces a pass code number that it sends to the GC2 to supposedly validate. I never have an opportunity to enter a code on my computer.
3 - I have seen the COM ports for the GC2 in those same Bluetooth settings dialog box. I just have no way to figure out if it's actively connected, because like you mentioned, in the Bluetooth devices sceeen, it says connected for a minute and then says Not connected or disappears altogether.
Thanks for your help!
