For the gc2 setting to 2 is good for putting

Hello I have a gc2, recently upgraded from skytrak. What is everyone using for putting forgiveness setting? Is 1 mean more forgiveness? Meaning it’s like straight putt on the skytrak settings? And do I need to change the penalty system settings, or leave them at 0?

I then tried to find other BT devices and it found my phone no problem. I wanted to confirm that my GC2 was sending data so I used the foresight app on my phone and that was working. At this point I was stuck so reached out to others and protee and one suggestion was to try a new BT adapter. I bought a new BT adapter, deleted the old BT settings from the computer, installed the new one and went through the setup process again and sure enough, it connected right away.

Long story short, even though the BT adapter appeared to be working and would find devices, it would not transmit the data.
In my experience deleting the GC2 and adding it again usually fixes this.

Bunkers under 40 yards have a 40% penalty. Heavy rough is around 1 club. Fairway bunkers and light rough is 1/2 a club. All estimates.

It's the norm. TGC penalities are listed in the TGC forum.

i have a question about my gsx setting ...i have everything set to zero except putting speed and forgiveness ...the one thing ive noticed is green side bunkers have a penalty while i play TGC....ea.if i have a 25yd bunker shot and want to land it 20yds ...i need to register a 30yd shot on my GC2 and the in game carry will be 20yds ..there seems to be a 50% penalty for greenside bunkers...is this the norm or am i screwing something up......again...

Tips for getting your initial GSX connection. I think mthunt had mentioned it before in this thread somewhere but I wanted to confirm my experience as I think it will help others.

These tips are for AFTER you have had it working previously but the next time the input is disconnected.

    1) If your GC2 has been working over bluetooth, do not change any setting if the input is disconnected.
    2) Uncheck the "on" button in GSX
    3) Hit a ball so your results are outputted on your GC2.
    4) Turn the slider back to on in GSX.
    5) If it doesn't connect, repeat steps 2-4

Really, you don't want to mess with the settings if you have previously had a successful connection. Try those steps and it has worked every time for me since. The most I have had to repeat steps 2-4 is twice.

No... I used the same install of TGC. If you already have the TGC license, just send ProTee your machine ID and ask for the ProTee interface license, and a new TGC license for GSX. They'll take care of you.
