Is there any way to add regular "guests" to TGC. My daughter and my friend play regularly with me. I just changed from E6 and in that they could create an "account" that saved their profile meaning we can return to a round. However, since getting TGC I can't find a way to do this and it appears that you can only add "guests". This means that can't save additional profiles or come back to play a round at a later date. Is this correct or am I missing something?

You will just always have to add her when setting up a round. It is an extra step but it’s pretty easy.
My one buddy comes over few times a week and we play 2-3 rounds at a time. Always have to add him after every round.
But honestly, only thing is it won’t track her handicap or total shots or bests.
Only one profile it will track.
Software is great, really user friendly and lots of fun courses for young people and of all skill levels.
I suggest just getting a white board or dry erase of some sort and keep her stats, round scores or whatever.
Have fun!

I just fired up my TGC today and can’t figure out this profile thing. I knew ahead of time that I wouldn’t be able to set up more than one profile but I can’t seem to even add my own players to a round. I can add a player but it names it with my name and “guest” in brackets beside my name. I am unable to edit the players name, gender, hand etc. If anyone can assist me I’d appreciate it.

When you add a player click edit then change player to get to the one you want to edit then change name etc. You can change handicap too.Originally posted by Rockin Robin View PostI just fired up my TGC today and can’t figure out this profile thing. I posted this question on other threads in this forum but haven't seen any response, so I'll post it here as well:
I know you have to add guests manually for each round, however, is it possible for those guests to be tour players and play in the tournaments. I know I can add them to my tournament rounds but is there a way to have their shots recorded so they can compete in the tournaments and not just play the course? Thanks for any advice.

Hmmmm... seems odd that only one person per SIM/TGC license can participate in tournaments. Hope i’m Wrong..... anybody have any insight on this? I have a buddy that wants to participate in tournament play but is in no position to build/buy a simulator.

Your guests shots are recorded and show their name. Your guests can play in the tournament but the only way for your guests scores to be on the leaderboard is for ProTee to manually add them.My Courses:
