cant i reduce TGC shot delay even i upgrade PC?

i was using TGC with my old laptop.

my old laptop spec is

i5-4200m(2.5GHz) and 8G ram and GTX 750m and samsung 256 SSD

so when i shot.. shot delay was 2sec.


so i upgrade my laptop to i7-4710mq and 16G ram and GTX970m SLI and samsung 256 ssd.

so i was really expected to reduce shot delay..

but just now.. i tested TGC with new laptop.. shot delay was 1.5sec...

so my new laptop reduce just 0.5sec.. even i turn on SLI mode..


so cant i reduce shot delay more less than 1sec even i upgrade PC?

because i have Korea Golf Simulator(ParOn Screen). and it use GC2 (usb connection. not bluetooth)

and its shot delay is less than 0.5sec. so i cant feel any delay.

and another Korea most famous Golf Simulator(Golfzon) is too.

and ParOn Screen's Computer's spec is so old.. dual core and gtx500 series.... but graphic is good like TGC.


so when i show TGC to my friends... and after my friends tested it with just 5 times shot..

my friends didnt want to test again because of shot delay.


i really like TGC because of more realistic than korea golf simulator.

so i want to open my golf sim center with TGC. in korea..

Golf simulator game center is really famous in korea. we have Pro Golf simulator competition with prize 10000$


but i want to intruduce TGC to my friends and korean..

but if shot delay wont reduce less than 1sec..

no one wont want to enjoy in korea because already people is enjoying Golf Sim Game without shot delay



my laptop isnt high end PC. but my laptop can play almost PC Game with full option in Full HD.

The biggest effect of shot delay with TGC/GC2 is how far the Bluetooth dongle is from the GC2. The closer the better.

The biggest effect of shot delay with TGC/GC2 is how far the Bluetooth dongle is from the GC2. The closer the better.

my laptop shot delay is little fast. this video's delay is like my old laptop.

so i think shot delay is because of bluetooth.. my korea golf sim use GC2 with USB connection. so shot is so fast. less than 1sec..

but TGC and GC2's FSX software use bluetooth. so FSX has same shot delay..

play music with bluethooth has same problem. some bluethooth earphone has music delay becasue bluethooth isnt fast wireless

so i dont understand if usb connection can reduce shot delay less than 1sec.. why TGC use bluetooth..

i know bluetooth is wireless. so easy to setup. but i believe shot delay is more important than easy setup..


compare korea golf sim(youtube) vs TGC shot delay.

so what do you think people's choice who already enjoy golf sim with not to feel any shot delay

TGC using bluetooth is required since the bluetooth traffic is not encrypted. The USB traffic is encrypted. I'm sure you know why the unencrypted data is required for use with TGC...

Davray has said in previous posts both the Bluetooth and the USB traffic is unencrypted. So it is a myth that the USB is encrypted. Do you know otherwise Goat?

I also remember Davray's comment. Guess someone could try it. I'm not a GC2 owner (yet) and would be interested if the USB can also be read.

Only drawback to a cable connection is if the cable gets in your way, in my view. Then again I usually avoid wireless and direct connect everything.

There's still a slight delay (probably .75 seconds) even with the cable. See my video below which is FSX using USB. I don't think it is a computer issue. I have a 4.0ghz i7 with an Nvidia GTX 970. Never thought much about the delay. There are a couple of times, usually with flop shots, that I notice the GC2 can slow down in displaying the numbers and then the delay to see the show go is an extra second.

Yeah I saw a posting somewhere on here I thought or maybe another forum where they did a very similar thing with the optishot. Usb pedals?

I see some stuff on amazon when searching for USB pedals that may work.
