Skytrak website and tgc

does the skytrak website have to be up and running in order for tgc to work? Sky golf website was down and when I tried to launch tgc it would start to connect and then give me an error that the program has stopped working.

Sounds to me that your TGC crashed for whatever reason.

The skygolf website came back online last night so i was able to play. So i assumed that in order to use TGC the skygolf website must be working? Does anyone know if this is correct? Does it have to check licensing with them at some point?
