I am one that like all the data I can gather, and due to circumstances beyond my control the main use I have gotten out of my GC2 has been outside at the driving range. I like seeing how it compares to what I am doing and seeing so I can see that the reading are what they should be.

I have a GC2 and never take it to the range. Not sure which product you are looking at but would highly recommend a GC2. Never has misreads and 100% accurate. It has a long track record of a high quality launch monitor. You get what you pay for and eliminate any frustrations from some other products "No Reads" and other issues they have. It also has a battery and you can take it to the range if that is one of your requirements. Good luck on your choice!
