I am struggling with Enclosure size and aspect ratio. I got an amazing deal on a BenQ LK953ST 4K 5000 lumen projector with a native aspect ratio of 16:9. The projector gets great reviews and the throw fits my room perfectly. I am trying to order an enclosure from Carl's and for my room, to maximize screen size, the 16:10, 9x14 is close to perfect. If I were to choose the 16:9 enclosure that fits width-wise, the enclosure drops to about 8'7'' and that is too short. Does anyone have any suggestions other than to just return the BenQ and get a 16:10 projector? More details:
15'7'' of room width available
The finished ceiling height will be 9'10''
Appreciate any feedback/suggestions very much.
