  • What LMs have the best swing and club path data?

Currently have a SkyTrak... I get way more out of my practice sessions at a local shop's TM4 that has strike location and swing/club path.

I've been looking at GC4, GC2+HMT, Un-XO, and X3. Which of these has the most useful path, club, and strike data for improvement?

The reviews on here show Un-XO as have good ball data, but poor club data.

For club data, you're likely not going to get much better than Quad.

Take a look at www.vuegolf.org. It shows all data parameters from FlightScope X3 except Curve Dist.

PROTEE UK (and all of Protee) has hands down the best customer service period. <<<something to also consider..

My Protee is dead nuts accurate (understatement) for 1/5 the cost and 100% of the accuracy.

          Contact Jamie at jamie@proteeuk.co.uk

He will help you from start to finish and down the road.

The Protee also has very good short chipping accuracy where a lot of other LMs fall short.

I’ve had the EYEXO for 4 months. I’d qualify the club data as “good enough”. I’m close to scratch and what I need is to see what the club face is doing through impact and where I hit it on the club face. Those are both provided through the video clip of the club going through the ball. I might look at my angle of attack on an iron, but that’s way down the list of optimizing your game.

Now for driver, yes, knowing your angle of attack is helpful for optimizing how far you hit it…but do you really need a number each swing to learn to hit up into the ball? Probably not.

My experience has been that EYEXO club face data is accurate about 75% of the time. So how much more do you need to pay on top of 10k to get the other 25%? Not to mention that the Uneekor software package is much better than the GC Quad system?

Having owned a Skytrak, Mevo+, Uneekor, GC2, and Quad I would say in my experience the club data from the Quad is unparalleled whether using indoors or out.

Been following this thread cause I’m in the same boat. I really never see anyone talk about the X3. Just wondering how it compares. I am in between a used TM4 or gcquad

This is a good topic. I think we all know that TM4, or GC Quad are the "gold standard" and give club path / face info, however, they are not cheap and with Quad you also have to pay a lot for the software. Are there any decent options out there for lower than 5K? I am thinking of just keeping my skytrack and getting a divot board. Might give me the same info.

Protee is an excellent option and is less than $5k

I recently purchased an X3 and I am very impressed so far. I wanted a unit that does as well outdoors as inside and this was the best option I found other than the TM4. I went with the X3 based solely off the fact that is doesn't require a yearly subscription for software. The club data is the same as far as i can tell. Nice unit and no complaints about their software yet.

the only problem with Radar from testing Mevo + and Trackman 3 is that it doesn't perform as well indoors as outdoors. My club speed is 111 and I was getting all sorts of high spin numbers. It's a bit of a challenge if you do not have more than 20 feet of space and a "clean enviroment"

The very recently announced flightscope mevo+ pro package offering certainly would warrant a look if your budget doesn't extend in to the X3, gcquad, trackman territory and you want a portable unit. Club path, face to path, and face to target are will be optional measurements in the new year.
