  • My Man Cave Golf Simulator Build

Finally, I upgraded from the NetReturn and building the whole basement into golf simulator with putting green/semi home theater. It took 6 months to get all the parts, and I was lazy to work on it. Here is my room size and I'll list the items I bought for this project and post a few progress pictures later tonight.

    Room size 15'x22'x9'

I spent 2 hours last night to remove the rest of the carpet and rack strips. And I spent 3 hours today so far to install rest of the dricore panels. Now it's time for the putting green!

              90% complete.
Installed the putting green in the afternoon. It was hard to align them. I ended up making a wrinkle because I folded it to move my screens back and forth. Damn it. Does anyone know how to remove it?
Now I need to trim the edges amd cut the hole for the panel.

It is done! Cleaned for another 2.5hrs.
It took me 15hrs since last Thursday, but I'm so glad it's complete. Now I can enjoy beer and start playing again tomorrow.

Nice job! I ordered my lumber today and it will be delivered on Wednesday. I can't wait to start sawing. How did you do your FB cut out? Trim a little at a time until you were flush?

Thanks. I will be playing and pratice a lot more often now.

For the FB panel, I did cut it with scissors. Started from far side away from standing side and worked around it. 2 sides where the ball rolls and you see when you stand were straight and flush, but the other sides were slightly were off here and there by 1/4". Ball rolls pretty well for putting from the fb panel.
