    Storage unit as sim room

I've mostly seen it all on here but I've never actually heard of anyone renting a storage unit and using it as a hitting bay. So has anyone done it or done the research and can tell me I'm crazy?

Storage units as a rule don’t provide electricity
and in my area a large enough unit would run close to 500 a month

800 to 1000 a month can get you a room in a shared space facility
I took lessons for a while in a space like that

small but adequate with a gc2

I guess you’d find similar places in your area

      I looked into storage units
between the built out required lack of electricity
      and lack of real heat
      i couldn’t justify it

The shared space converted warehouse units that a lot of musicians and smaller music studios and small music production companies like to use
provide a decent environment although small and generally smelling strongly of pot
      are functional

Depending on area density, you might try to find a one-car garage available for rent. When I lived in Wisconsin, I saw one for rent on Craigslist in a nice Milwaukee suburb for $200 per month with electricity.
