Hello all -
I just found the forum several weeks back and have learned a great deal from all of you - thank you!
I'm in the fortunate position to design from scratch an 25 x 25 addition which will be 2/3 occupied by a simulator build. (I deftly negotiated a new office/exercise area for my wife in the other 1/3 to grease the skids and that seems to have done the trick for now!)
Interested in opinions - what would be the ideaI setup dimension wise? I'm thinking 17 feet wide by 16 feet deep by 11.5 high. This 17/16/11.5 area would be dedicated to golf as I envision an entertainment/seating area behind the simulator and a safe distance from errant clubs/balls. Important note - the space will need to accommodate both LH/RH players.
I will need to provide my designer/architect with the necessities he needs (adjustments to framing, electrical, cabling, adjustments to flooring, etc.) over the next 3-4 weeks so I'm busy reading through all of the Simulator build posts to gather up my notes - any of your thoughts are welcome.
Thanks!!
