Which simulators include club path data?

Hello. I’m a new member from Austin, TX, and I would like to install a simulator in our batting cage room to help improve my golf game. I am installing a large net at one end of the batting cage, as the existing net is not small enough to stop golf balls. I also ordered materials to make my own mat, so I'll let you know how that project comes together. I took a 10 year break from golf, as I needed to let my shoulder heal from a series of surgeries. I am ready to re-learn how to swing a club (i.e. unlearn the bad habits which are still in muscle memory), so I am looking for equipment which can help me develop proper swing mechanics. Before my last surgery, I tended to have an outside-in swing with a slice, so I am interested in reviewing my club and ball data. Does anyone have a list of the options which show club data?

To quickly answer your question: launch monitors that measure club path start with the Uneekor QED (6K), then move up to FlightScope Xi Tour (available used around $7K), Foresight GC2 with HMT (~9-10K), Uneekor EYEXO (10K), Foresight GCQuad (15K), FlightScope X3 (15K), Foresight GCHawk (20K), and Trackman (20-24K). I rep for FlightScope and Foresight in that list.

You should know, however, that ball flight tells you all you need to know about your club path, and the path and face angle can actually be calculated based on ball flight (assuming center-face contact, and best done in aggregate shot data) or estimated on the fly once you know about ball flight laws. My Advanced Analytics software for SkyTrak does that (https://gunghogolf.com/articles/Adva...cs-for-SkyTrak), and SkyTrak is only $2K and is very accurate for measure ball flight and improving your game.

Ron seems to have left out the most reasonably priced machine on the market. Take a look at the Es tour plus. At 2700, it provides you the data you are looking for.

I think until a system is tested and vetted I believe that Ron was right to exclude this one. He is running a business a suspect thathedoesnot want to suggest something that is not proven.

LOL once again you've twisted something to meet your needs. You are good at it. I wouldn't believe a thing you posted anywhere because you are completely untrustworthy.

Not sure if I have twisted anything nor said something to lead one to believe whether I am trustworthy or not. All that I have done is post the words you wrote in the next posting. They are your words and not mine. I also let people know where they can find the quote so that they can express their on opinion.

Do us all a favour, test the unit and post the results of your findings. I for one am very interested to see the results and I am sure I am not alone in that view.

The if it works was me describing my thought process when purchasing the unit. In my mind very clear to grasp unless you want to grasp something else.

If I thought it didn't work id be trying to get a refund and not defending it. I was honest in my post about who I thought it could work for and who it won't.

Need more of that around here.

GolfingATX I would search this forum or any simulator forum for reviews of ES16 before purchasing one of their products. There are not any reviews of the new ES tour plus that I know of but the ES16 was supposed to give club data as well. Also the ES tour plus is the only launch monitor near that price point that is not back ordered 8-12 weeks which tells me I’m not the only person who is skeptical that it will perform as advertised.

Had one arrive three weeks ago. Did my research, spoke with the rep, decided to take the plunge as it does give best value (if it works).

Three weeks in very pleased, but I strike the ball half decent so the acoustic trigger works well for me. If there is a tendency to hit behind the ball buy a decent amount you either need to pick a different machine.... Or (this is crazy I know) Get better at hitting the golf ball!
